Pencil drawing by Teah Major, 2011

After studying Old Testament for a year we are ready to proceed to the New Testament world and times in 2013/2014 Our purpose: To know and love God through studying the Scriptures. To get an overview and flow of the salvation history as a continued story of God’s friendship with people. Connecting and contrasting Bible history to the world events, main philosophical and religious ideas. Materials: The Bible (NAB or RSV) – we will read the whole New Testament throughout the school year. Every student needs to get a copy of the Bible for this class, no sharing with siblings. Understanding the Scriptures by dr Scott Hahn, textbook and workbook – obviously, this year we will use the NT part. Screen Shot 2013-02-20 at 2.18.05 PM
