For Teah’s 13th birthday we went to see The Nationality Classrooms at the University of Pittsburgh. These 27 rooms were given to the University from the city’s ethnic communities and represent Classical, Byzantine, Romanesque, Baroque, Renaissance, Tudor, Empire, Minka and folk styles to recreate cultural periods prior to 1787. A lot of these rooms are furnished with authentic period pieces, decor or items which are valuable and rare. My favorite room was Ukrainian.
